Paralegal and Special Projects Manager Fighting for Patients’ Rights
Cori was born in Chesapeake, Virginia and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
She then moved to Virginia Beach, where she graduated from Landstown High
School in 2012. After high school, Cori was accepted as an Echols scholar
at the University of Virginia, where she studied Russian politics. After
leaving UVA, she worked in the animal care industry for several years
before beginning her career as a paralegal by enrolling in the Paralegal
Studies program at J. Sergeant Reynolds Community College. She began her
work at Norton Health Law in April 2019. After completing the Paralegal
Studies program, Cori plans to attend law school to become a public defender.
Cori enjoys volunteering her free time with a number of public service
and advocacy organizations, including various legal aid societies and
civil rights groups. She is passionate about social justice and hopes
to help fight for the underprivileged as a public defender.
In her free time, she enjoys creating art, practicing yoga, spending time
in nature and spending time with her family, especially her sister, Cameron,
and brother, Dylan. She is also very fond of her two cats, Camilla and Ceres.
